So I've been struggling with newer builds of Songbird OSX PPC. It takes a long time to compile XULrunner (the embedded portion of Mozilla/Firefox) and ensure that the library path is not polluted.
The major issue for the XULrunner is that it seems to be blocked from stopping one song and clicking on another to play a new song. Running in to error messages like:
Error: Permission denied to call method Location.toString
which the google suggests is an issue with Flash permissions.
Also running in to spinning rainbow of death for the program attached to a seemingly massive issue with:
_semaphore_wait_signal_trap (in libsystem.B.dylib)
Thanks you for your work to try to build an updated PPC build. Your work is greatly appreciated by us last PPC user.
I just discovered Songbird, and I'm grateful that you're putting so much work into these PPC builds. 1.0 is working great (MDD G4, 1.25 GHz, 1.75 GB RAM, 10.4.11). I'm really looking forward to a 1.1 that runs on 10.4! It must be a real hassle - I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your work.
Many thanks, i'm waiting impatiently the 1.2 and 1.3 version for PPC...\r\n\r\nI hope you'll succeed to compile it :)
