Songbird 0.7.0 for MacOSX PPC

So the folks behind Songbird have dropped official support for the Mac PPC crowd.

So I've decided to do my own build to test it out. The build process isn't as straight forward as with the its cousin Firefox. Getting the dependencies layout correct was a bit hit and miss and I still haven't gotten all of the gstreamer plugins to properly build. So for the moment I'm using the binary VLC plug in and qt for audio processing.

It handles playing mp3s and some of the add ons/extensions are kind of slick. Also given the mozilla heritage, the web browser side of this media player handles some of the firefox add ons as well.

The ability to specify a Developer tool kit and optimisations is missing in the build process, so I'm not sure if my build will work on 10.4 or will have missing library issues on other machines. But feel free to test it out and leave me feedback in the comments.
