Thanks for the comment with link on Simonworld yesterday. I really enjoyed your previous post! In the Standard today, it seems Michael de Golyer tries his hand, rather successfully, at biting satire on the subject...link to the Standard

Daai tou naam is how we pronounce it at my house. It is true that HK and mainland do pronounce some things differently like gnam for "right" as in that's right - ho gnam, in HK it's "am" w/o the gn sound. Most of my family is originally from canton so i hear the differences a lot.
Anyways, just leaving a comment and asking a favor. I am living in Chicago now and I used to listen to RTHK from HK every few days and really enjoyed it. It was nice to hear what was going on in HK as well. I really love the place.
My question is what happened to RTHK? Can you tell me why they are not online anymore? Did they change sites or get blocked by china?
Thanks, since u are an expat in HK, i figure u should know and can fill us in on the other side of the world. Thanks,
Hunter
PS. email me back if u can with the answer, really appreciate it.
